Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who will be required to do the following. Training will be provided where necessary. This is a full time position. 

Salary:

Verifiable salary history required.
Salary will be competitive and will be based on experience and background in the Engineering and Utility industry as defined above. Crown offers a generous benefits package which includes health and dental insurance, and 401K retirement plan.

  • Reasonable knowledge of protective relay operation and familiarity with SEL or other protective relays.
  • Medium voltage switchgear design, fabrication or testing.
  • Good Auto-Cad experience.
  • Ability to read and understand single line diagrams.
  • Familiarity with IEEE and NEMA specifications pertaining to medium voltage switchgear.
  • The candidate will be required to generate detailed schematic and wiring drawings from customer supplied guidance schematic.
  • Perform equipment selection such as relays, battery/chargers etc.
  • Work with switchgear manufacturers to select proper switchgear equipment.
  • Develop Bills of Materials and other drawings for projects.
  • Perform power testing of protective relay panels and medium voltage switchgear line-ups
  • Perform communication and HMI testing on relay panel line-ups.
  • The candidate shall be responsible for running their own projects and meeting budgetary and schedule requirements.
  • Complete other tasks given by the Electrical Engineer Manager or other members of Management.
